Our website, from address book to browserOne-time setup: GoDaddy updates the .be registry to delegate DNS to Cloudflare. A visitor uses DNS to find Cloudflare, then requests a page over HTTPS. Cloudflare sends the request through an existing encrypted tunnel to cloudflared on the Mac. Caddy reads the public files and the response travels back. The Mac initiates the tunnel. DNS helps the browser find Cloudflare. It doesn’t carry the page.

Secure passage

HTTPS protects the public connection; the tunnel encrypts the journey to the Mac.
